Uncanny X-Force will be relaunched in January with an all-new team, this time led by Psylocke.

Long time readers will probably guess that I am excited by this as my girl-crush on Betsy is no big secret. So I’m obviously pretty geared about this. Psylocke and X-Force brought the only story arc to legitimately make me cry over comics in the last year. I can’t think of a better way to open 2013 than with this badass woman leading the team.

Other confirmed teammates are Storm, Puck, and Spiral. Storm’s inclusion is pretty interesting considered her general “anti-killing things” stance. I’m anxious to see how this particular dynamic plays out. I really hope they’re not planning on turning Storm into a stone cold killer. Her rejection of extreme violence is such a big part of her character and why she’s so incredible. I would hate to see them throw that away.

The series will be written by Sam Humphries with art by Ron Garney.
